Inspiration ^.^

stumbled across Euan Uglows work and fell in luv, the graphic rendering of color vs his "rough" outlines and scrapey brush work, are what got me to purchase a book of his works...I hope to one day be posting up figure paintings such as these!

Nude study

issues with perspective and value......but I was more apt to lay in the curves of the figure than to just cut away at it with the side of my charcoal which is an improvement for me ^.^

another digital figure study...i prefer the others color palette,levels of contrast, mark making and the sense of volume in the figure...but i like the softer rendering on this one...what do you guys think?

color study, something i started and finished while watching a few episodes of ROME, i dunno about u guys but that series rocked...and its great to do figurative studies to ^.^

SketchBook scans

Markers make everything so messy ;[ But china markers are the worst imho! SO lovely to draw with but i have to figure out a way to keep them from becoming black smudges in my SB :/ Carrying around a can of spray fix just doesnt jive with me....
